Summary
Just because you want a under 30 feet shouldn't mean you have to settle for a small boat.
Construction

Hand layup mat and unidirectional roving to required thickness with unidirectional reinforcement in stress areas. Independently molded hull liner forms integrated floor timber structure. Balsa cored deck with non-skid pattern molded into horizontal surfaces. Full teak interior with cabinet joiner work. Rubbed oil finish, Teak grabrails exterior and interior. Teak and Holly cabin sole.

Keel

Cast lead 3200 pound NACA fin lead keel with antimony added. Outside ballast fastened to hull with stainless steel keel bolts. The keel is faired with epoxy and micro-balloons then epoxy coated.

Deck Detail

Aluminum toe rail fastened to hull with 1/4" stainless steel bolts on 4" centers. Double rail bow and stern pulpits. Through bolted stainless stanchion sockets and stanchions carry double lifelines. Teak grabrails on coach roof. Pedestal wheel steering with stainless steel destroyer wheel and pedestal mounted compass. All halyards and reefing lines lead to cockpit winches via rope clutches.

Galley

U-shaped with icebox aft and stainless steel sink flanking 2-burner gimballed alcohol stove. Pressurized water with faucet and foot activated pump to a telescopic faucet at galley sink. Drop-leaf, bulkhead mounted teak table.

Ventilation

Eight 4" by 14" opening ports with screens. Aluminum framed translucent hatch forward of house. Large companionway with sliding fiberglass over-head hatch and drop-in plexiglass lee board.

Storage

Hanging locker opposite head. Shelves with teak louvered doors outboard of bunks and galley. Locker and shelve storage in head. Appropriate bin storage below counters and berth throughout.

Berths

Contoured 5" foam cushions with updated fabric covers. Seat portside in fore-cabin makes into double. Starboard settee with padded lee board/seatback coverts to form double. Wide quarter berth with ample storage below.

Head

Located starboard side with door closure to fore-cabin passageway. Sink counter molded with telescopic faucet and foot actuated pump. Pressurized water with shower attachment. Cabinet and outboard storage.

Cockpit

Sail locker hatch to port. Full width mainsheet traveler recessed behind companionway bulkhead with tag lines across bridge deck. Wheel steering, recessed engine instrument panel, bulkhead mounted diaphragm hand bilge pump. Edson pedestal with compass, stainless steel grabrail and mounted B&G GPS display.

Mast, Boom and Rigging

Double spreader rig with mid stay. All halyards internally leading aft to cockpit. 8:1 mechanical advantage in split back stay. Internal jiffy reefing. Spar and rigging grounded. 1x19 stainless shrouds. Forged bronze chrome plated turnbuckles. Link plates at head stay. Vinyl coated stainless main boom topping lift. Ratcheting 5:1 main sheet tackle. All necessary running rigging in Dacron, stainless steel or pre-stretch Dacron where appropriate.

Hardware

Two-speed Barient primary winches on cockpit coamings. Halyard winches afte end cabin house. Mast collar cast aluminum with rubber wedges and PVS boot. All necessary snatch blocks and snap shackles for running rigging.

Electrical and Plumbing

55 amp alternator, 100 amp hour dual batteries. 120 volt AC shore power with cabin outlets. 14 gauge stranded copper wiring minimum, soldered terminals, protected against chafe, run in conduit where appropriate. Master switch, 6 place circuit breaker panel. Interior lights, navigation lights, including steaming and mast head light. 17 gallon aluminum fuel tank, 30 gallon polyethylene water tank, 14 gallon holding tank with deck pump-out. Fresh water pumps for head and

galley, manual and electric bilge pumps. Stainless and bronze ball valves on all thru hulls below water line.

Sails and Canvas

Genoa in good shape on a furler with UV protection on the leach. Mainsail in fair shape with canvas mainsail cover. Two spinnakers in excellent condition. Dodger with stainless steel frame and opening front window. Pedestal/wheel cover.
